Supporting 8th Wimbledon Scout Group

How Merton Connected helped the group with a range of support

8th Wimbledon Scout Group’s initial contact with MVSC was for support with funding and volunteer recruitment.  MVSC assisted the group to both identify and successfully apply for relevant funding from Merton Giving and London Community Response Fund and helped broker new volunteers to help faciliate the sessions.

MVSC additionally supported the Scout Group to target and promote the benefits of scouting to local, young BAME residents and their parents and provided guidance on COVID-19 regulations to help them return to face-to-face delivery.
