This programme will ensure that people from Armed Forces communities can keep accessing important services, where resources for these services have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. More
British Red Cross: Hardship Fund | Rolling Deadline Short term help for people not in employment or receiving other financial assistance from statutory/voluntary services either due to having no recourse to public funds (NRPF) or delays in receiving benefits. People will receive £120 as a one-off payment or up to £1,080 over three months for families with children or other dependents to help with essentials such as food, somewhere safe to sleep and fuel. Henry Smith Charity | Rolling Deadline Improving Lives grant programme provides grants to charitable organisations that help people when other sources of support have failed, are inappropriate, or are simply not available. More |
London Community Response Fund | Rolling Deadline |
The Morrisons Foundation | Rolling Deadline They awards grant funding for charity projects which make a positive difference in local communities. In the main grants are available to fully fund projects up to £25,000. More |
Neighbourly Community Fund | Rolling Deadline Grants will be awarded to existing members of Neighbourly and whose work will involve supporting members of the community suffering economically, socially or from ill health as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This may include, but not be limited to, elderly people, those on low incomes and people at risk of food insecurity. More |
Sylvia Adams Charitable Trust | Various Deadlines
Improve the life chances for some of the most disadvantaged children in England and Wales by investing in early intervention and preventative work for those with genetic conditions. Charities that can demonstrate the likelihood of increased demand for their services and/or can demonstrate a loss of anticipated income attributable to the current pandemic. More

Beddington Community Fund | Rolling Deadline Funding of up to £30,000 is available for projects measured 2km or less from the Beddington Site. Up to £5,000 is available if your organisation falls into one of the boroughs of Croydon, Kingston, Merton and Sutton. Applications that meet the criteria of the fund are reviewed quarterly. Key objectives: local need; community involvement; education; value for money. More |
Charities to Benefit from Dormant Accounts | Rolling Deadline The Culture Secretary has announced that £150 million will be taken from dormant bank and building society accounts to help support the UK’s charities and social enterprises whose work has been affected by the COVID-19 crisis. More |
Comic Relief | Various Deadlines Some of the money that is raised through Sport Relief 2020 will go to organisations on the frontline of the response to the Coronavirus, who are able to reach some of the most vulnerable people, likely to be affected. More |
Clinks: Criminal Justice System | Rolling Deadline Voluntary organisations with an annual income of less than £500,000 can apply now for a grant of up to £5,000. The funding is to be used for activities and resources which help organisations deliver support to people in the criminal justice system during the COVID-19 crisis. More |
The Ernest Hecht Charitable Foundation | Rolling Deadline This Fund is continuing to accept applications for funding from charities who are struggling to survive funding crises during the COVID-19 pandemic, and charities who are seeking funding for future projects/activities. More |
Get Up Rise Up Action Fund | Rolling Deadline The above fund is in a six month trial period making resources available to local groups that often find themselves underfunded or under-resourced and who are planning creative direct actions as part of an ongoing campaign. Priority will be given to African groups during the trial period but will not necessarily be limited to that. Applications will be looked at each month. More |
Halifax Foundation | Rolling Deadline They have broadened their criteria to include constituted groups not yet registered, temporarily due to COVID-19 and are offering small grants up to £2,500, and medium grants up to £5,000. More |
Henry Smith | Rolling Deadline Their grants programme is now open after a review. As their application process takes six months they would like those applying to detail how their services can be delivered once government restrictions have been lifted. Funding to involve people, particularly disadvantaged, more in communities and to help those communities be stronger, active, more engaged. More |
Innovation Fund | Rolling Deadline During COVID-19 they are looking to fund projects that will help people in our local communities connect and reduce isolation. You can apply for up to £1000 to bring your idea to life and help support people through this challenging time. More |
London Community Foundation (National Emergency Appeal) | Rolling Deadline Crisis response grants are available of up to £10,000 to enable you to meet the immediate needs of communities, from food and essentials, to equipment and additional short-term staff costs. More |

Place Makers: Local and Counties Fund | Rolling Deadline Grants up to £10,000 for projects supporting their residents to live more independent lives, increase their social mobility and community engagement and integrate social responsibility to activities. Rank Foundation Emergency and Resilience Funds | Rolling Deadline The Foundation has launched two funds to help existing network and current grant recipients: The Emergency Fund is for immediate grants of up to £750 to purchase equipment, technology or memberships; The Resilience Fund will provide grants to cover cashflow, fundraising and loss of income, and to help with increased demand for services. London Community Crisis Response | Rolling Deadline As a response to this crisis London’s funders have been working together to provide a coordinated single point access to funding supporting groups responding to the needs of the capital's communities. Prince’s Trust and NatWest Enterprise Relief Fund | Rolling Deadline The Prince’s Trust and NatWest have launched a £5million grant fund for young entrepreneurs affected by coronavirus. The Fund is available to entrepreneurs aged 18-30, who can apply for grants and tailored support from today. Grants can be used to maintain core business operations during the crisis. More |
Rosa Small Grants | Rolling Deadline Organisations that are non-profitable and run predominantly by, for and with women can now apply for grants of between £1,000 and £10,000 to meet short-term funding needs for a period of up to six months. More |
The Young Women’s Trust | Rolling Deadline The fund will provide relief payments of £150 to young women aged 18-30 struggling to afford essentials such as food, utilities and rent for themselves and their families. The payments will be made available to women who have been referred by their partner charities. More |
Youth Club Grant | Rolling Deadline Funds equipment for youth organisations which are affiliated to either UK Youth or Association of Boys and Girls Clubs. More |
Youth Future Foundations | Rolling Deadline Youth Future is offering a rolling grant programme to organisations working with young people aged 14-24 to help overcome barriers to finding meaningful work, in particular those with approaches that can be tested, evaluated and, where proven to be effective, expanded to more young people. The7stars Foundation | Rolling Deadline The above organisation, in partnership with famiiy law firm Coram Chambers, is offering small grants to challenged under 16-year-olds who are facing difficulties in achieving their potential. The main areas prioritised for funding are: homelessness, addiction, abuse, and child carers. More |
Morrison's Foundation COVID-19 Homeless Support Fund | Rolling Deadline
The Morrisons Foundation recognises that homeless people are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19 because they are more likely to have underlying health conditions and are less able to access basic sanitation. Registered charities that care for the homeless can apply for a grant up to a maximum of £10,000 for support to cover three broad areas: Outreach and support for rough sleepers, including provision of essentials. Fashion and Textile Children’s Trust | Rolling Deadline Grants are available to help parents and carers who have worked in the UK fashion or textile industry and whose household income has reduced as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. Parents and carers to apply for items their children will need for the year ahead. These can include essential clothing; baby clothing, equipment or bedding; children's bedroom furniture; essential White Goods; specialist items for children with additional needs, e.g.sensory toys, adaptive clothing or SEN adapted computers. Mayor of London Warmer Homes | Rolling Deadline Grants up to £4,000 for low income Londoners who own their own homes or rent privately. The energy improvements which can be funded are: wall and loft insulation; first time central heating; boiler upgrades; solar PV panels in electrically heated properties. Although home visits to survey properties, and to fit the measures are suspended until it is safe to resume, the funding will be allocated by date of application, and you are advised not to delay applications until the coronavirus pandemic has passed. Standard Life Foundation | Rolling Deadline Funding is available for work directly related to the pandemic, addressing specific challenges and helping to contribute to social change which tackles financial problems and improves living standards for those on low-to-middle incomes in the UK. The work the Foundation might consider in relation to the pandemic is rapid analysis of key issues, for example, self-employed workers, the food and hospitality or social care sectors. More |

Central Social & Recreation Trust | Rolling Deadline
Grants are available for sports clubs and organisations in England to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation for the benefit of disadvantaged children who are under the age of 21 years. More |
London Marathon Charitable Trust | Rolling Deadline Funding is for building or facilities projects that inspire increased participation in physical activity, sport and play. The Trust is currently focusing its funding on engaging and supporting individuals and groups who do not currently participate in physical activity. You can apply to their Small Capital Projects for grants between £5,000-£20,000 or their Major Capital Projects for grants between £20,000-£150,000. More |
